Submitting Print Jobs through the LPD from a non-UNIX System

To submit jobs from a VM, z/OS, or AS/400 system through the LPD Gateway to an InfoPrint AIX server, you can use any LPR client, but cannot specify advanced InfoPrint options on the -o flag. If submitting jobs from an MVS or z/OS system, you might want to consider purchasing IBM Download for z/OS as an alternative that lets you specify a richer set of InfoPrint print options.
