Stapling and punch options available from the ps2afp transform when using the CPSI transform engine

You can use the ps2afp transform to specify both staple and punch finishing options. However, you must:

  1. Ensure that the IPDS (Intelligent Printer Data Stream) capable printer supports either staple or punch finishing options.
  2. Ensure that the PostScript input file contains either staple or punch information.
  3. Ensure that the keyword finishing is assigned to the device_controls option in the ps2afpd.cfg configuration file, as shown in the bold-faced example in Sample PostScript Daemon configuration file sections with staple and punch options.
  4. Ensure that the application or driver that generated the PostScript supports the subset of staple or punch operations enabled in the ps2afp transform. See Staple and punch PostScript operations supported by the ps2afp transform for a list of these staple and punch options.

  • InfoPrint 2085
  • InfoPrint 2105
  • InfoPrint 2060ES
  • InfoPrint 2075ES
  • InfoPrint 2090ES
  • InfoPrint 2105ES
